NOTE Norrtelje AB works for long-term, sustainable development by offering production that takes the environment into consideration during the entire process and prevents unnecessary negative effects on the environment.

This will be achieved by

  • working for increased interest in the environment among the company´s interests
  • continually improving our environmental efforts
  • striving to reduce our energy consumption, environmentally adapt our purchases, source-sorting and recycling as much as possible
  • striving to coordinate transportation to minimize the effect on the environment
  • open reporting of our environmental efforts
  • meeting or exceeding applicable environmental regulations
  • Definition: `interests` refers to personnel, customers, society and suppliers

NOTE Norrtelje was the first EMS supplier in Sweden to receive environmental certification under ISO 14001 – the environmental management system of the International Standards Organisation. NOTE Norrtelje is also EMAS registered. This registration means that a company makes its environmental efforts known in environmental reports that are available to the general public.
