We have seen, and expect continued, great growth in this segment for many years to come and 4 of our units are certified according to ISO 13485. The global megatrends will support the medtech sector for many years to come for economic growth enabling more people accessing professional healthcare, demographic change where more people are getting older and the ovearall number of caretakers will increase. Technical development and digitalization are increasing the demand for advanced electronics in this sector.
We offer qualified production and industrialization capacity from our three Swedish units and from China. We have a long term ambition to certify even more units. NOTE`s in-house quality management system (QMS) complies with ISO 13485 identification and traceability procedures. We also have a risk-based approach, employing failure mode effects analysis (FMEA) as a standard assessment and evaluation techniques during the whole design development phase.
All process steps comply with the strict set of requirements as defined in the ISO 13486 standard; Inspection & testing, tolerances according to workmanship standard and traceability (ETC ETC).
